Apple fires up four new FaceTime ads
Technology is about helping people do things and with iPhone 4 Apple puts communication back on the table. It’s not just video call, it’s video call done right.
So why did Apple restrict FaceTime to wifi only? Tried doing this on a 3G network? I have, and it’s not pretty.
I went ahead and did it so you don’t have to.
Screen resolutions
To my understanding the terms 720p and 1080p when used in context of TV or screen resolutions mean the minimum number of pixels in terms of height that the screen needs to display to present high definition images.
So how come suddenly in 4K displays the number 4096 refers to the width?
Dimensional drawings of Apple’s mobile products
Apple has a new page with dimensional drawings of iPods, iPhones, and iPads. It’s a resource for businesses looking to build cases for these devices, but it’ll also come in handy to those who are modeling said products for marketing materials and such. I love Apple’s single-serving pages of this sort.
