Right, the idea of socially networked blogs intrigues me. I do have a Blogger account but I’ve left it alone since I discovered Twitter last year. Even though now it has a social networking concept tacked on, that blog was pretty much a diary of my past and I’d like to keep it that way. For now. Also because I’ve grown detached from the name I chose for its address.
For some reason I’ve never been much of a fan of LJ, one of the early socially inclined blog network despite my then girlfriend’s (now wife) insistence. Maybe I was put off by the looks. Or something.
Anyway, a new life deserves a new blog and this looks like it’ll be it. Also I have a tech blog on posterous. I love posterous due to its simplicity and the fact that I can email my posts. Also, I might even create a posterous just to fill this one! LOL
While my posterous focuses on tech issues, this one will be for my daily observations. In other words, for things that are too long to share on Twitter. I’m going to need to explore tumblr a lot more (maybe Lisa can help me out) and find out if it can send tweets to my Twitter.
